As a population, they generally do not spend enough time with the material, and this is why they fail at a very high rate. Changes to Tutoring

As of January 2, 2012, all MyMathLab and MyStatLab courses now offer 24/7 online tutoring, and no longer offer phone-based tutoring. All registered MyMathLab and MyStatLab students will have an opportunity to sample the online tutoring service (one free session of up to 30-minutes) at no charge. Further optional tutoring sessions will then be available for purchase. Some of the benefits of this new model include: 

  • 24/7 online tutoring

  • No additional registration  needed from MML/MSL

Rolled-up Item Analysis for Exports
Item Analysis Exports are now available for course groups from both the Quick Exports and Advanced Exports pages. If a coordinator-instructor exports Item Analysis for a course group, he/she can get a summary of student performance across all course sections in the course group, and also student scoring details for each student. Question metrics (difficulty, median time, correct on first try) are also included in Advanced Exports.

In addition to our exhibit booths, we'll be hosting 5 commercial presentations on November 11th and 12th, all located in room 616B. Although labeled as commercial, these presentations are strictly intended as training and best practices discussions. Educator hosted, the focus is on sharing ideas and tips that you can use in your courses - helping you aim higher!
