PERT + Pearson

Does your state have standards in place for what students should know at the conclusion of a particular course or sequence of courses? We at Pearson have been working to align a number of our courses and textbooks with the outcomes determined by states for higher education. For example, Florida has developed the Postsecondary Education Readiness Test (PERT) as the primary placement assessment used by The Florida College System. We now have four different MyMathLab courses that include the PERT Standards, for easy instructor assessment of student understanding of the objectives. In addition, we have recently added a new PERT Prep Test to our MyMathTest product to help students better prepare for the PERT.
